Education:
Education is not only what takes place in the classroom or online. It's having opportunities available to those that have decided to make that change, or the direction change. Our goal is working directly with alternative schools such as Alee Academy or Life Streams to help get these kids ahead in life. If a tutor is required our team at Community Coach has a list of volunteers ready to help. Most of all we want to be there to make sure someone cares enough to hold them accountable for their grades, their attitudes and their choices.
Job Training:
The need to provide improved job training and creating high wage or family-wage jobs is reflected in local government economic development plans. Local governments are seeking to provide cooperative educational opportunities responsive to the changing needs of the work place both locally and regionally. Community Coach is constantly seeking local colleges, technical schools, school officials, such as principals, or teachers to give us direction in areas such as this. Our Community is full of opportunity for them and unfortunately we do not share the knowledge needed to get a job in the real world. We will have training with leaders in Lake County on what they expect in an interview from a possible future employer. We are dedicated to taking the steps necessary to ensure the future of these young adults to be a success.
Mentoring:
Mentoring makes a big difference. Young adults and youth guided by a successful role model are more likely to improve their academic performance, through better decision-making skills, self-confidence, and sense of belonging. A "Life Coach" is instilling positive values in them that they will in turn share with family, friends and all their peers. This helps them find their own self-worth.
Mentors help set goals, solve problems, and make good choices. A mentor simply provides a positive role model for the at-risk youth or young adult. Mentoring programs for youth and young adults have proliferated rapidly in recent years and now serve more than 2 million youth in the US most of whom are from disadvantaged social and economic backgrounds.
Community Involvement:

With Community involvement your seemingly small gestures will make a huge difference in the life of ALL those we come in contact with, young adult, incarcerated, youth that are at risk; YOU can make the difference.
